MOSCOW/WARSAW, Apr 27 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom will suspend gas supplies to Bulgaria from Wednesday, the state’s Energy Ministry said in a statement on its website late on Tuesday.
“(Bulgaria’s national energy company) Burlgargaz has received a notification on April 26 that Gazprom Export will suspend the supplies and natural gas from April 27,” the statement read.
Polish energy company PGNiG said that it had received a similar notification from Gazprom on suspension of gas supplies from Russia from Wednesday and said that such suspension is violation of the contract obligations.
